Our Purpose
Nine Elms Arts Ministry has been creating free creative events and bringing people together in Nine Elms, Battersea since 2018. On the South Bank of London’s River Thames, Nine Elms one of the largest redevelopment areas in Europe and includes the iconic Battersea Power Station, The US Embassy and New Covent Garden Market.
We are passionate about this diverse, vibrant area and we are ambitious for our community and work in Nine Elms.
We provide creative opportunities and spaces, so together we can:

> Engage with quality arts, culture and creativity
> Build community cohesion in our diverse area
> Explore spirituality through creativity

Wellbeing
We host regular events which focus on wellbeing - physical, emotional and mental - from gentle dance sessions for adults, to relaxing creative workshops for all the family.

Seasonal
From Easter crafts and creative reflections for Lent, to our flagship Christmas projects - including the Advent Calendar Trail - we are proud to host a calendar of projects throughout the year.

Spiritual
While rooted in the Christian faith, our projects actively welcome and include those of all faiths and none. Our Soul Space events explore spirituality through creativity and our Upper Room community meets regularly for Creative Prayer.

We are all about collaboration.
We partner with local artists & creatives, residents, community groups, schools, faith groups, cultural organisations, developers and local businesses to ensure our events are truly rooted in and represent our community.
Underpinned by the Christian faith, Nine Elms Arts Ministry’s projects and events are actively welcoming and inclusive to those of all faiths and none.
We celebrate the incredible artists and creatives who have made Nine Elms and Battersea their home, as well as bringing prestigious national and international creative talent to Nine Elms – inspiring even more residents to explore their creativity and spirituality.
We believe that nurturing arts, creativity and spirituality are central to building healthy, vibrant and inclusive communities that can be places of joy, hospitality and wellbeing for everyone.
