Needle felting, the magical art of sculpting wool with a barbed needle! The rhythmic motion of the needle piercing the fibres, the gradual transformation of fluffy wool into intricate shapes – is an almost meditative experience contributing to a profound sense of calm and accomplishment. 

Felting is known for its benefits to health - reducing stress, improving eye-hand coordination, developing patience and helping to relax and have a sense of peace. 

In this workshop Gemma will guide you through the techniques of needle felting with the creation of a beautiful decorative garland or decoration using different shapes and giving you the skills and inspiration to continue at home. 

Gemma a local artist and creative arts and well-being facilitator. Specialising in mosaic, ceramics, textiles and many other creative art forms.
